North Carolina Gulf War Memorial

Many have asked, ‘Does this memorial include references to the current Iraq War or War in Afghanistan?”

The Gulf War Memorial is specific to the 1990-1991 era.

We may consider the Gulf War Memorial to be the entry gateway to all future commemorative and heroic memorials that may follow at this site.

The site for installation has been designated as the Halifax Mall, adjacent to the historic North Carolina Legislative Building. The grounds are in the  process of a major landscape redesign, including a walkway that will contain the sculptural columns depicting the Gulf War of 1990-1991
